To commence an adjudication, the Claimant party must serve a completed Notice of Adjudication to the other contracted party of the dispute and provide it to the SCDRO within 24 hours, further instructions are provided below.

Filing a Notice of Adjudication – Simple Steps

Step 1: Complete the Notice of Adjudication
✔ Fill out Form A.6 – Notice of Adjudication completely.
Step 2: Serve the Respondent
✔ Deliver the completed form to the other contracted party (Respondent).
Step 3: Submit to SCDRO
✔ Email the Notice to authority@scdro.ca within 24 hours of serving it to the Respondent.
Step 4: Provide Contact Information
✔ Submit the Respondent’s contact details (name, email, phone number) to the SCDRO.
Step 5: Pay the Filing Fee
✔ Include the applicable filing fee via e-transfer or credit card payment over the phone.
Important Notes
🔹 Ensure all names and contact details are correct on the form.
🔹 If a proposed adjudicator is NOT included, the Applicant must submit a formal written request via email for the SCDRO to appoint one.
