The Filing Fee is payable to the SCDRO at the time of filing a Notice of Adjudication. This fee is non-refundable. As per legislation, the fees of adjudication are split equally between parties unless otherwise determined by the adjudicator. Adjudication are subject to additional expenses beyond the fees illustrated below.

The fee payable to an adjudicator is the fee agreed to by the parties to the adjudication and the adjudicator – more information in the Builders’ Lien Act 21.4.
With the exception of the non-refundable claimant filing fee, the costs of the dispute are borne equally between the two parties to the dispute, unless the adjudicator rules otherwise.
Additional adjudication expenses such as professional experts, travel, meals, and accommodations expenses related to the adjudication process, are also split between parties to an adjudication unless otherwise determined by the adjudicator. Additional expense are not included in the Fee Schedule above.
Please note that for all disputes of less than $50,000, 20% of the Fee Amount (listed above) is considered an administration charge and shall be withheld by the Saskatchewan Construction Dispute Resolution Office. For disputes of $50,000 and more, the administration charge is 25%.
